5th May - H3 EXAM (!!!)

It's the last stretch for H3!
and after we're done we can laugh at the MOE H3 people hahahaha!
just kidding :p

During H3 on Friday Dr Yu gave us a "pre-exam briefing"
it was WONDERFUL
his ppt consisted of one slide each for each past lecture we had.
and on each slide was a wonderful array of ticks and crosses! (more crosses than ticks for most of them thank goodness)
all the crosses were for stuff we didn't need to study :D :D
so, with all those crosses, the stuff that we actually need to study has decreased by a rather substantial amount. :p
not to mention many of the crosses were for topics that left us going ????
yay. (:

training is sososososososo tiring now o.o
not in a John's set kind of tiring.
in fact, during the set this morning i distinctly rmb wishing it was still John in charge.
for John's set, the limiting factor was always how much your heart could take.
for Jack's set, because of the STUPID SHIRT AND DRAGS, the limiting factor (for me at least) is how much your arms can take.
seriously.

take today's 12x150 for example.
it was on 3.30 each which = sprint set not a making time set.
but unfortunately i could only plod along slowly cause by 75m my arms would stubbornly refuse to move.
i think my stroke rate decreased approximately 50% over each entire 150m. haha.
and it wasn't even aerobically-challenging (same goes for the 18x200 PULLING), only my arms felt like they were working.

i seriously need to:
1)increase my arm strength!
2)get proper drags!
using the COE one's like condemning yourself to die a horrible death. even with the pockets folded in, they still come out the reverse side so it's still very draggy.
but i'm not really sure how much of the drag is attributed to the shirt (esp. the 'parachute' which forms where the shirt covers the hole on the back of the costume) and how much is attributed to the drags. I'm just hoping getting a proper/lighter pair of drags will help.

other than that, i think dryland's quite fun :D
